Dr. Anne Jacobs is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve where she supervises and teaches Ophthalmology Residents. She also continues to hold an appointment at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. She also enjoys practicing facial aesthetics. Her mission statement these days at Anne Jacobs MD LLC is “Dedicated to restoring vision and youthfulness”.
EDUCATION | TRAINING
After completing her medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Dr. Jacobs attended Case Western Reserve to do her Ophthalmology Residency training. In 1986 she opened her practice, Jacobs Eye Center, in Avon, Ohio. She has been on staff at Mercy Regional
Medical Center since 1986. For over twenty-five years she was also active on the medical staffs and committees at UH- St. John and Elyria Medical Centers, and Mercy Premium Surgery Centers.

Dr. Jacobs has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1987. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She is a member of the Ohio Ophthalmological Society and Cleveland Ophthalmological Society. She serves on the Community Foundation of Lorain County Grants Committee.
